Most Halloween inflatables pick an age and lock everyone else out. The bounce houses belong to the big kids, and the little ones get carried back out crying. The Haunted Hideout is the one unit at your event where a three-year-old and an eight-year-old can be inside at the same time and both of them want to be.
It's a 20 by 22 foot walk-through mansion — a wider footprint than any of our bounce houses. Inside it's a soft maze: pop-through walls, low obstacles to climb over, tunnels, and a slide out the back. Kids run a lap, come out the bottom, and go straight back around. Outside it's purple and green with cartoon ghosts, grinning jack-o'-lanterns and a Frankenstein waving off the roof.

Not by accident. Every package we build includes this unit, from the $900 Trunk-or-Treat to the $2,100 Community Event. After ten years of October events, this is the one that keeps a crowd of mixed ages busy in a single footprint.
🏆 What it actually does for your event
One unit, every kid at the party
Put a three-year-old in a bounce house with eight-year-olds and somebody's crying in ten minutes. In a walk-through, the big kids run laps and the little ones take their time, and nobody's in anyone's way.
Kids keep going back in
A bounce house is one room and they've seen it. A maze has a route — through the walls, over the obstacles, out the slide, back around to the front. That loop is why this one holds a crowd longer than its size suggests.
Wide footprint, low ceiling
Ten feet tall inflated and twelve feet of clearance to set up. That gets under tree limbs and wires that rule out our taller units — so it fits yards our obstacle courses can't.
Who it's for, honestly
We used to list this as a toddler unit and that undersold it. Here's the real answer.
Ages 2–4
Their favorite thing at the event. Soft everywhere, nothing to fall from, parents can see in from all four sides.
Ages 5–10
They treat it as a race. In the front, through the maze, out the slide, sprint around, do it again — usually faster than the adults expect.
Ages 11+
They'll run it a few times with the little ones and then want something bigger. Pair it with an obstacle course for that crowd.

Friendly — Halloween without the nightmares
A purple haunted mansion with cartoon ghosts, a green Frankenstein waving from the roof and grinning jack-o'-lanterns along the base. It looks like Halloween from across the field, which is the point — but there's no fog, no strobes, no sounds and nothing that jumps out. Nobody's kid is going home upset.
⏱ How long do you want it?
Base covers up to 6 hours. Here's what the upgrades actually buy.
Standard rental. Fine for most trunk-or-treats and afternoon parties.
Margin on both ends, so our delivery window can't collide with your setup or your cleanup.
We set up the day before and collect the next morning. No truck arriving while your volunteers are working, and nobody waiting around at the end of the night. On a package this is the upgrade we recommend without hesitating.
Friday before 2pm through Sunday after 2pm, or Saturday before 12pm through Monday after 12pm. Churches with a Friday trunk-or-treat and a Sunday service get both on one setup.
Lock the date with 25% down — balance due before delivery. We own two Haunted Hideouts, so it's more available than most of our Halloween fleet — but October Saturdays still go early.

What's inside it?
A soft walk-through maze — pop-through walls, low obstacles to climb over, tunnels, and a slide out the back. There's no climb wall and no drop, so it's safe for the smallest kids, but it's a route rather than a single room, which is what keeps the older ones running it again. Parents can see in from every side.
My kids are 6 and 9. Is this worth it?
Yes, and this is the situation it's best at. The six-year-old will live in it. The nine-year-old will race it, and racing a younger sibling through a maze is most of the appeal. Where you'd want to add something is if your oldest is eleven or twelve — pair it with an obstacle course and everybody's covered.
Is it too big for a backyard?
Usually not. You need a flat 24' × 26' area, which is wider than most of our bounce houses, but it's only 10 feet tall — so tree limbs, wires and roof overhangs that rule out our taller units generally aren't a problem here. Send us a photo of the space and we'll tell you straight.
Is it scary?
It looks like Halloween and doesn't act like it. Purple haunted mansion, cartoon ghosts, a friendly waving Frankenstein. No fog, no sounds, no strobes, nothing that moves or jumps out. We rate it Friendly, the mildest level on our scare scale.
How many kids can be in it at once?
Because it's a route rather than a single bounce floor, it handles more traffic than a bounce house of similar size — kids spread out through the maze instead of piling in one spot. For a busy trunk-or-treat we'd still recommend an adult at the entrance keeping the line moving, same as any attraction.
Can I rent it outside of Halloween?
Yes, year-round. Most bookings are September through early November, but it runs dry and needs one outlet, so it works for spring festivals, school events and church functions too. Non-October dates are much easier to get.
Does it need water?
No — completely dry. No hose, no wet kids, no soggy yard.
