Description

4-player knockout game • Ages 5 & up • Fall festivals, trunk-or-treats & corporate events

Four players. Four hay bales. One giant swinging pumpkin. 🎃

Players climb onto inflatable hay bales in the corners of a pumpkin patch arena. A giant jack-o'-lantern hangs from the center on a rope. Then they swing it at each other and try to knock everyone else off. Last one standing wins.

Every other attraction at your event is something kids do. This is something they do to each other — which means the crowd watching is as into it as the four playing. Rounds last under a minute, somebody's always getting launched, and whoever just went down is already climbing back on.

And it isn't just for kids. Ages 5 and up, but the dads climb in, the youth pastors climb in, and at corporate events it turns into a bracket with a whiteboard. If you need one thing at your event that grown-ups will actually participate in instead of standing around holding a plate, this is it.

💥 How a round actually goes

1
Four players climb onto the hay bales

Inflatable hay bale pedestals sit in the four corners of a pumpkin patch arena, ringed with corn stalks and jack-o'-lanterns. Everyone gets up, finds their footing, and the trash talk starts immediately — which is true whether it's fourth graders or their fathers.

2
The pumpkin starts swinging

A giant jack-o'-lantern hangs from the center on a rope. Players grab it, shove it, and send it at whoever they've decided to eliminate first. There's no referee needed — the game explains itself in about four seconds.

3
Somebody gets launched

And lands on a padded inflatable floor, laughing. That's the moment the crowd outside the arena gets loud — and the moment three more people decide they want the next round.

4
Last one standing wins, next four get on

The whole cycle takes under a minute. Four off, four on. That turnover is why a line at this unit moves faster than a line anywhere else at your event.

⏱ How long do you want it?

Base covers up to 6 hours. This is a tall unit with a suspended center piece, so install takes real time — the extra window buys more than it looks like it does.

We set up the day before and collect the next morning. No truck in your lot on event day, no crew working around your guests, and nobody standing in the dark at 9pm while we bring down a 25-foot arena. Eighty dollars to take the whole logistics problem off your plate.

🏆 What this does that nothing else in the fleet does

👀

The line is the show

At every other attraction, waiting is dead time. Here the kids in line are watching a match, picking who they want to beat, and yelling. Nobody's asking a parent how much longer.

Fastest turnover we own

Four players, under a minute, next four on. Nothing else clears a queue this fast. If your event has one big attraction with a long line, this is the unit that fixes it.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Grown-ups actually play

Most inflatables have a ceiling around age twelve. This one doesn't. Dads, youth leaders and coworkers all end up on the bales — which is why it books for corporate picnics and team-building days, not just kids' parties.

Scare level

Friendly — it's a pumpkin patch

Friendly Spooky Full scare

Hay bales, corn stalks and grinning jack-o'-lanterns — it reads as a harvest festival more than a haunted house. No fog, no strobes, no sounds, nothing that jumps out. There's a cartoon spider up top, which is the only thing worth mentioning if you've got a kid who's funny about spiders. Otherwise this is one of the gentlest-looking units we own, which is a nice contrast to how competitive it actually gets.

📏 Space, power & setup

⚠️ This is the tallest thing we own. Read this before you book. At setup it stands 25 feet tall — taller than a two-story house. Tree limbs, power lines, light poles, gutters, awnings and roof overhangs are all disqualifying. Walk out to where you want it and look straight up. If there is anything at all over that spot, pick a different one or send us a photo and we'll advise before you pay. This is the single most common reason we arrive somewhere and can't inflate a unit — and on a booked-out October Saturday there's rarely a way to fix it on the spot.

The floor space is the easy part. A 24-foot by 18-foot pad fits most backyards and nearly any church or school lot. It's the 25 feet of air above it that decides whether your spot works — so measure up, not out.

✅ What we need from you

  • 25 feet of overhead clearance — the deciding factor
  • A flat 24' × 18' area
  • One outlet within 100 feet of the setup spot
  • A gate or path wide enough for a hand truck
  • Area free of debris, sticks and animal waste
  • Someone with gate or lot access on delivery and pickup day

📦 What we bring

  • Professional installation by our trained crew
  • Blower, 100' extension cord and proper anchoring
  • The wrecking ball, rigged and tensioned correctly
  • Tarp underneath when needed
  • Full takedown and haul-away when you're done

☔ Zero-Risk Weather Policy

Bad forecast? Reschedule or cancel for a full refund as long as you tell us by the night before. Once we install and your event starts there are no refunds — so we'll help you make the right call before install day. A 25-foot unit and high wind don't mix, so we'll be honest with you about the forecast.

🕒 Delivery window

We contact you 24–48 hours ahead. The free Anytime option is a 24-hour window and you don't need to be present if you tell us exactly where it goes. Tighter? 2–4 hours is +$35, 60 minutes is +$75.

🎪 What to put next to it

A knockout game is a brilliant second or third attraction — but it's four players at a time, so it works best beside something that holds a bigger group.

The Fall Festival Package

This game anchors our most-booked package

The Fall Festival is this wrecking ball plus the Zombie Apocalypse bounce-and-slide combo, the Jumpin' Jack-O'-Lantern and the Haunted Hideout for $1,300 instead of $1,450 booked separately. Four units, every age from 2 up, one date, one delivery, one crew, one invoice, one COI.

❓ Common questions

It's 25 feet tall — will it fit at my place?

The footprint is easy: 24' × 18' fits most backyards and nearly any lot. Height is the real question. Twenty-five feet is taller than a two-story house, so tree limbs, power lines, light poles, gutters and awnings all rule a spot out. Go stand where you want it and look straight up. If there's anything above it, pick elsewhere or text us a photo — we'd much rather sort it out now than on delivery morning.

How does the game actually work?

Four players stand on inflatable hay bale pedestals in the corners of a pumpkin patch arena. A giant jack-o'-lantern hangs from the center on a rope. Players swing it at each other trying to knock everyone else off their bale. Last one standing wins. It takes about four seconds to explain and no adult needs to referee it.

Is it safe? Kids are getting knocked off things.

Yes. The arena is fully enclosed and the floor is padded inflatable — when someone comes off a bale, they land soft. The pedestals aren't high, the ball is soft-sided, and there's nothing hard anywhere inside. It's rated ages 5 and up, and our crew will walk you through supervision when we set it up.

What ages can play?

Ages 5 and up. Fair warning: adults get extremely into this one, which is why it also works at corporate events and team-building days. If you've got kids under 5 at your event, pair it with the Haunted Hideout so nobody's standing on the sidelines.

How fast does the line move?

Faster than anything else we rent. Four players, a round under a minute, then the next four get on. And unlike a bounce house queue, the kids waiting are actually watching a match rather than standing there — so it doesn't feel like waiting.

Is it scary for younger kids?

Not at all — it's hay bales, corn stalks and grinning jack-o'-lanterns. We rate it Friendly, the mildest level on our scare scale. No fog, strobes or sounds. There's a cartoon spider on top, worth mentioning only if you've got a kid who's funny about spiders.

Can I rent it outside of Halloween?

Yes, year-round. The pumpkin patch theme reads as "harvest festival" more than "Halloween," so it works at fall events well into November — and the game itself is a hit at corporate picnics and school field days any time of year.

Does it need water?

No — runs completely dry. No hose, no wet kids, no soggy lot.

What if it rains?

Our Zero-Risk Weather Policy lets you reschedule or cancel for a full refund as long as you let us know by the night before. Once we install and your event begins there are no refunds. Worth knowing: a 25-foot unit is more wind-sensitive than most, so we'll give you our honest read on the forecast before install day.

Do you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes, free of charge. Most schools and churches require one — tell us who to name and we'll send it over. We're fully insured and state licensed.

Do you set it up and take it down?

Yes. Our trained crew handles installation, anchoring, rigging the ball, and full takedown. You don't lift anything — just show us where it goes and confirm the overhead is clear.
